Comedy Guild Awards 2012: AotearoHA wins Best Show, others win awards too!

On the 26th January 2012 Back

Last night marked the 12th Annual Comedy Guild Awards, held at the Classic. Hosted by Vaughan King and Comedy Guild President Aaron Beard.

The big winners on the night were Brendhan Lovegrove, who won Best Male Comedian, and Urzila Carlson, who took home Best Female Comedian.

The awards show, which featured a Star Wars/Star Trek theme, was the first time ever the New Zealand Comedy Trust has won the Best Show for AotearoHA Next Big Things! - an award that was gleefully accepted by Comedy Festival Director Kylie Aitchison.
