The likes of Geordie comedian, Ross Noble had rarely been seen when he first came to New Zealand in 2003 for a season at The Classic in the annual NZ International Comedy Festival.
In the intervening years Noble has grown in to a mercurial legend on the world comedy circuit and still stands apart from many of his peers. Famed for his fiery and fluid freewheeling style, Noble creates comedy gold from tiny particles of random nonsense.
Known for improvising vast swathes of his act from night to night depending on what, or more likely, who sparks his fertile imagination. It gives each performance a special feel, knowing that the material is quite unrepeatable outside this specific moment in space and time.
In February 2018 Noble is returning down-under for an extensive tour of Australia.
But not before he sneaks across the Tasman to warm-up with just 4 nights at The Classic in Auckland, Weds 21 Feb to Sat 24 Feb
Usually seen in large theatres and arenas these days due to his popularity, the return to The Classic with just 120 seats will provide a special intimate experience for his local fans and a chance to reacquaint himself with the first venue he ever played in the Southern Hemisphere.
