Festival Applications for 2026 now open!

It's that time of year again and we are super excited to open applications for our 2026 Festival! Want to develop your idea and be part of the biggest comedy festival in Aotearoa? We'd love to hear from you! Applications are open from Sunday 14th September until midday Wednesday 1st October 2025.

To apply, you'll need to make an account on the Performers Hub (via the apply link below), our online directory of everything you need to know about the Festival. You'll find information on the application process, venues, budgeting tips, and more!

During the application window, we'll be holding a few industry networking and Festival info sessions for anyone who would like to chat to the Festival team or ask any questions about the application process:

Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington

Fest 101 Session - Thursday 18th September, Hannah Playhouse, 5:30pm
Industry networking and Festival info session for any artists based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara interested in applying for the Festival. Ideal if you're thinking of participating in the Festival for the first time or have any burning questions! RSVP HERE

Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland

Fest 101 Session - Monday 22nd September, The Classic Studio, 5:30pm 
Industry networking and Festival info session for any artists based in Tāmaki Makaurau interested in applying for the Festival. Ideal if you're thinking of participating in the Festival for the first time or have any burning questions! RSVP HERE

Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland + Online

Fest 201 Session - Tuesday 23rd September, The Classic Studio, 5:30pm 
A Festival 201 session for artists who have done solo shows in the Festival before but are wanting to extend on their experience and think about the next steps and further develop their show concepts. You're able to join online if you are based outside of Tāmaki Makaurau or are unable to make it in person. We'll send a link out a few days before! RSVP HERE
